… as is the case for the works of art by Mark Dedrie. Already in 2007, he creates his first gyrfalcons for the Middle East market. The sculpture ‘The Sky is the Limit’ seems to be his primary statue, the start of a collection. In 2014, Mark picks up this passion again, but not without trial and error. Fortunately, falcons have a patient nature, and today, the time is right to realize a large exclusive collection

Sculptor Mark Dedrie is extremely fascinated by the most appealing species among the falcons. The royal appearance, the all-seeing eye, as well as the speed and agility of the animal in its free flight are an inexhaustible inspiration for the powerful visual language that Mark creates with his works. Gyrfalcons not only have great symbolic value in the Middle East, they are also used extensively for racing and hunting.
