Biviers' African eagle owl During our almost annual walks through the forests of Biviers, near Grenoble, my attention was repeatedly drawn to a fascinating tree structure. The first time we noticed it, the tree was still standing proudly, even though it had died several years earlier. One particular piece of wood particularly intrigued me - then still firmly anchored to the trunk. But in 2024, the moment was there: the wood, shaped by time and nature, turned out to be the perfect match for the majestic African Eagle Owl and was finally given its new purpose.
